The Creationist ~ Part One: The Resurrection of Luna

This RP crosses over into Scott Westerfeld's Uglies series.

The original characters Tally, Shay, Fausto, Ho, and Zane will not appear. Nor will Aya Fuse of "Extras."

As any fan of the Uglies Series knows, the world is drastically different from when Sailor Moon reigned supreme. Sailor Moon and the original senshi were part of what the era the Uglies Series calls the "Rusty Era." Primordial and ancient times are referred to as "Pre-Rusty."

The world is set into three groups: Uglies, Pretties, and Special Circumstances. All groups split into micro-cliques each unique in their own way.

Uglies - The human race as they're born: Unattractive, unsightly, and full of raw emotion.
Pretties - At the age of 16 all Uglies undergo a special operation to become "super model pretty." The operation in turn allows the government to implant lesions into their brains, turning them clueless and stupid. The only thing they wish for is to look fabulous and to be "bubbly."
Special Circumstances/Specials - Selected Pretties who undergo a surgery to become superamped fighting machines engineered to keep the Uglies down and the Pretties stupid. In other words, government drones.

It's the year 3100 A.D. -- 100 years after Neo Queen Serenity took power over planet Earth and all surrounding planets and nebulae. The Black Moon Clan has come and gone. However, the peace Crystal Tokyo achieved at the end of the battle was only temporary.

King Endymion is now plagued by extreme paranoia and megalomania.

He no longer sleeps alongside his wife, Serenity, and has her imprisoned in her apartments. Small Lady, his only child and heir, is banished for treason and sodomy: leaving the palace grounds to visit her only male caller, Helios.

As Endymion's mental state deteriorates, the utopian society of Crystal Tokyo and the Golden Millennium quickly fades, giving way to a cyberpunk civilization. Government technologies are no longer used for the good of it's people, but are now employed for use in espionage, surveillance, and wiretaps. Biotechnology and cryogenics are used in everyday practices. Memories are extracted from the deceased and stored in virtual databases. Human rights no longer exist.

Global Warming has also taken hold of Earth. Mass extinction of animals, the Antarctic ice-shelf has completely broken off and melted, sea levels have risen and flooded many of the world's coastal cities.

Once a burgeoning and wealthy metropolis, Crystal Tokyo is now a center of cyber crime, crude genetic alterations, and crimes against humanity. Children are kidnapped and sold in slavery. Women disappear on a daily basis, some even return as corpses. No one is safe.

The source of all that is powerful, the Ginzuishou, has been sealed away in a high security vault. Serenity no longer has access to it's power. Then one day it happens: Endymion has her memory wiped, her genetic structure altered, thrown out into the streets.

It's 5 years after the "kidnapping" of Neo Queen Serenity. King Endymion has completely squandered the empire's fortune, spent every coin in the treasury. The currency of Crystal Tokyo holds no value. Paper money is worth nothing, coins are melted down for use in machines.

Hell on Earth has been realized.

The Sailor Senshi, once of the source of everything good and just, have been officially disbanded by King Endymion. The Senshi lay in suspended animation deep inside the bowls of a hidden government bunker. People no longer see them as heroes, but as government experiments gone horribly wrong.

At the dawn of a new era a new breed of "Senshi" is born. King Endymion adopts "Special Circumstances" from the West, this new regime of soldiers are poised to be the face of the new world: the beautiful, strong, feminine woman with power.

In truth, the 12 men and women who make up "Special Circumstances" had been selected by the government due to their genetic make up. After being forced out of their homes, the girls are whisked off to a secret laboratory. Their genetic structure is altered, genes spliced and reset, DNA injected and altered to suit the will of the King. All memories of their lives have been erased. They are now drones for the monarchy.
